Cherokee Shores Homeowners – Road Repair and Erosion Control Project: Bids Posted in Compliance with Texas Law

Dear Cherokee Shores Homeowners,

We wanted to update you on the progress of our efforts to improve the roads in our community. As many of you know, we have been working on a road improvement project that involves repairing several of the main roads in our community and implementing erosion control measures to prevent damage to the roads in the future.

We are pleased to report that we have received bids from several qualified contractors and construction companies for the project. As required by Texas law, we will be posting the bids on our website and in a conspicuous place in the subdivision for at least 30 days.

We would like to remind all homeowners that this project is an important step towards improving the safety and overall condition of our community’s roads. By repairing the roads and implementing erosion control measures, we hope to prevent future damage and ensure that our community is safe and enjoyable for all residents.

We encourage all homeowners to review the bid documents and specifications on our website, which include important details such as the scope of work, timeline, and contractor qualifications. If you have any questions or concerns about the project or the bidding process, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Stephanie will be working closely with our new CPA, Shary Rogers, who will be handling all of our bookkeeping. Together, they will ensure that our financial management is in good hands.

Cherokee Shores Drive, Choctaw and Quanah Roads Repaired

Dear Members,
At this past Saturday’s Members meeting Henderson County Precinct 2 Commissioner Scott Tuley dropped in to update everyone on some of the recent road work that was performed within Cedar Creek Cove. They repaired Cherokee Shores Drive, Choctaw and Quanah, We wanted to take a moment to express our continued gratitude for Scott and his entire crew for all they do to help keep the county roads within the subdivision in drivable condition. He apologized for the short notice that there would be closures and asked all of us to please not drive around the road blocks while they are up without approval from his crew as this endangers his men. Again, we appreciate Mr Tuley for stopping by and updating everyone at the meeting. Don’t forget Loves Outreach will be holding their monthly fellowship & luncheon on Saturday September 17, 2022.

Election postponed until a final resolution

Dear members,
Due to differing interpretations of the Associations By-Laws pertaining to voting procedures and a pending proceeding before Henderson County’s 173rd District Court the election scheduled for August 20, 2022 has been postponed until a final resolution of this court proceeding. The final hearing is currently set for Monday October 10, 2022.
